Madeleine Peyroux e sua ótima banda (especialmente o pianista) fizeram do Teatro do Bourbon um jazz club, pelo menos tive essa sensação envolvente e fascinante. No entanto, o repertório não se restringiu ao jazz, indo ao blues, folk e até country. Mesmo sem presença cênica, Madeleine encanta pela sua linda e bem colocada voz, pela sua habilidade como violonista (ela toca violão de aço e também tocou ukele, um primo do cavaquinho - alguém na pláteia, em tom de brincadeira, murmurou que ela iria tocar "Brasileirinho"...). Também foi marcante a sua simpatia para com a plátéia e o entrosamento dela com os músicos, que tiveram bastante espaço para improvisar e que, mais uma vez repito, são ótimos! Dentre tantas "Smile" foi emocionante. E adorei ouvir "J'ai deux amours" no bis. Memorável!
